I had this with DD, like someone has kicked you in between the legs?

It's normal I think, just a result of the pressure of the baby pushing down and everything moving. Bloomin hurts though!

I have spd or pelvic girdle pain and it sounds like what you have.

I told my midwife as have had it from early on, and I was referred to a physio, who says my hips are out of line due to pressure of huge baby I seem to be growing.

Tell your midwife to make sure it is this. If so, she shoud refer yu for physio and get you sorted for some exercises to help ease the pain.

I was given a tubi-grip for y bump as a support and some crutches for making grand voyages to the shops - but some folk are really lucky and only suffer a little, others not so much and suffer a fair bit with it.

It's supposed to get much better after birth (if that's what it is).

It sounds like SPD, but it's normal to get some SPD-like symptoms as the baby engages and you approach your EDD - it's just your body preparing for labour as your pelvis needs to be looser for birth.

Spoke to midwife who told me to go to hospital, I went and they monitor the baby heartbeat and for contractions?? I explained the pain etc...they tested for stds but doctor said she felt that there was nothing wrong with me. The pain is so bad sometimes I want to scream, its effecting my left side more and my leg gives way sometimes or my legs dont move how I want them and I fall over. I'm 37 wks now and just wish it was over with now. hope this does go when baby comes as I dont now how I will cope.

hmm I wonder if the baby is pressing on a nerve? Is it a shooting pain?

DEFINITELY SOUNDS LIKE SYMPHIS PUBIS DISFUNCTION (SPD), I HAD THIS WITH MY LAST PREGNANCIES AND THANKFULLY NOT WITH THIS ONE SO FAR(26WEEKS).
DO AS OTHERS HAVE ALREADY SUGGESTED, SEE MIDWIFE AND GET A SPECIAL SPD BAND/BELT. THEY HELP AND ALSO SEE PHYSIO.
HOPE ALL GOES WELL.

JUST WANT TO SAY BELLA8445 YOUR DOCTOR SOUNDS USELESS. IF YOU DO HAVE SPD IT USUALLY GOES THE INSTANT THE BABY IS BORN, BUT HAVE KNOWN A FEW MUMS TO SUFFER FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER, THEN ALL WELL AFTER THAT. REST AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN AND KEEP LEGS UP,USE A PILLOW BETWEEN LEGS WHEN SLEEPING. ALL THESE HELPED ME.
TAKE CARE AND HOPE ALL GOES WELL WITH YOU.
