Sharp pains in side

Hi ? can anyone please offer any advice. I am only 5+3 and for the last 24 hours I have been having sharp stabbing pains in my left side (not like the dull af-like pains I had last week). I am not sure if this is normal or if maybe it is ectopic? Has anyone had experience of this?

It could be lots of things - the start of ligament pain, trapped wind due to the hormones....

How bad is it? If it's enough to make you breathless or double you up, I'd get checked out to be safe.

But if you're okay to walk through it and you're not bleeding and you're not getting left shoulder pain (a weird ectopic symptom) or any other symptoms like faintness, I'd try not worry and see if it goes on its own today.

Thanks for the response japhrimel. I can walk through it, not doubled up and not bleeding etc but it does take my breath away from time to time. I think I will see how it goes for the rest of the day and if it gets worse might be worth a doctor's visit? maybe I am over-reacting...
