I'd call your MW just to be safe. Did you bruise your bump?

OnlyWantsOne · 20/10/2010 15:08

no, I slid on my side, the under side of my ribs at the back hurts and it hurts to breathe in al the way - was stiff this morning but after hot shower I felt much better

owo please go see a midwife even just to check! Im sure they would rather you went to see them than struggled through, my midwife would have a fit if she knew I had fallen down the stairs and hadnt rang or went in!

MrsSnaplegs · 20/10/2010 16:32

owo I am going to put my ex nurse head on now so please don't be offended! You must go and see someone for you. The rib pain may just be bruising but it will prevent you from deep breathing properly which may put you at risk of a chest infection - you can get proper pain relief and breathing exercises to help so please at least phone MW or gp for an appointment. Lecture over please resume normal activities Grin

Miffster · 20/10/2010 16:43

Thank goodness you are ok, I was quite worried about you!
But yes, please go and get checked!
