I want to get my friend a present for her, not the baby.

She's 30 weeks (early 30s in age) and her favourite colour is turquoise.

If you were a 30-week pregnant woman, what present (that you can use!) would you want most of all?

cheaper than £20 please.

Thank you! [hgrin]

Some nice bubble bath?

Chocolate?

A pashmina thing to keep her warm as her coat won't fit any more.

A pillow or cushion for her back.

They have some nice sets of smellies for pregnant women in boots

Cowshed do a nice maternity range, or jewellery.

How about some lovely Lush things, their bubble bars are wonderful and not the kind of thing you'd buy for yourself, a treat.

What about a selection from here I love these products and the fact that you can buy once off ones means you can get a selection so she can pick and choose according to what she feels like.

I am 31 years old and 30 weeks pregnant. But my fav colour is purple! But its close!

I would personally love a big wooly scarf (none of my coats fit either and its getting chilly) but probably would love a posh(ish) lunch/afternoon tea with my lovely friend more.

If there is a Hotel Du Vin near you, I recently had a lovely afternoon tea with friends there, less than £20 each. Or is there a nice cafe that you could go to and eat cake and gossip together in?

At this stage of pregnancy its just sinking in how much my life will change in a few months, so spending some quality, relaxed time with my fav people is definately high up on my wish list.

I am sure she will love whatever you chose for her. You're a fab friend!

A soft and snuggly dressing gown. You should get one in Primarni for under 20 quid, probably Matalan or the big supermarkets - I love cuddling up in the evening in mine. Smellies are nice but a dressing gown will last longer.

thank you all for your suggestions!

I will ponder, but I like the sound of the lunch date, duke :)
(and the woolly scarf!)

I love buring essential oils but you can't burn candles in hospital. A friend brought me an aromastone which I took with me to the birth centre & used for 3 days there (as well as at home since). It was bliss! They are less than £20
