Had my 19 week scan today. I've never seen such an active baby! She was literally spinning around and around, the sonographer had to try and time her still shots to capture the bits she needed! It's was amazing to watch, all that movement when I only ever feel the odd kick here and there.
She looked like a real baby too, a whole real live baby. We took DS with us too, he was amazed by seeing his baby on the screen. I didn't realise how tense I was about the possibility of something being wrong until afterwards - I feel so relaxed now!
And, she's a girl. I'm delighted. Got a gorgeous 3 year old son already so a wee girl will complete our little family. We're only planning two kids so it feels nice to be getting one of each.
I'm glowing all over.
