Leukocytes plus 2 in urine at 28 weeks

I had my 28 week midwife appointment today and my urine sample showed up leukocytes at plus two level. It's been sent for more testing, but what dies this mean? Should I be worried? I don't feel like I've got a urine infection? But I've got a cold, could it be to do with that? I've heard that uti's can bring on premature labour?

I'm 38 weeks and had this yesterday. Usually indicates a UTI... I have thrush so I'm guessing it's that. If UTIs are treated there should be nonproblem and if they are aware you have this in your urine they should monitor it. I'm not worrying about my results... I hope I'm right not to!

I had this allthe time - was your sample clean and midstream? Were you given a sterile swab to wipe first? Mine always came back fine. Maybe drink some cranberry juice in the meantime? :) x

Thank you both for answering. I shall try not to worry and see what the results say! No I wasn't given a sterile swab or anything, is that normal?
