Before DD2 arrives....

We are completely broke and will be for the significant future :( but I was thinking of getting 1 thing every week/month before DD2 arrives in Feb.

Any suggestions? I do have loads of baby clothes from DD1 so I am sorted in that sense...but...what else shall I get.. or is it too early? I think my sisster may be giving me some resuable nappies, so that's a big help.

I think if you've got clothes and have a possible line on reusable nappies you've got a lot of the immediate needs sorted. A pack of disposable nappies might be useful to help you through the first few days / meconium / hospital without worrying about all the washing (depends how environmentally committed you are as well)

Have you got all the big things left from DD1? Somewhere for new baby to sleep, etc?

I think you'd be better off putting the money into a savings account to use once DD2's here and you start to see what you need, although I know I find that easier said than done on a lot of occasions.

Good luck :)

Muslins, cellular blankets & sheets for whatever you're using, sleeping bag?

I think I got rid of all my muslins, and I need a pushchair - am trying to look for a second hand bugaboo. Not so sure that will happen :)
