Hi

I have been looking, but can't really seem to find one (sure i'm being dense about it!)

Can anyone recommend a good baby mobile that has a light show and also music/sounds?

Thanks! :)

we were bought one from ELC a kind of bear type animal (Blossom Farm I think) that screwed to the side of the cot. But tbh the lights just over stimulated dd but the music on low sometimes helped.

I would recommend this:
Fisher Price

We got a second hand one. Both DS and DD have really enjoyed it. The best thing is that you can have just music or music & lights or both with water sounds.

we had the fisher price one with fish dangling. ocean wonders or something. It worked on remote control...but it turned out that it must have had the same sensor as our bedroom tv. so we would put the mobile on from across the room and get blasted my sky sports instead Shock

so we got a tomy lightshow thing, tiny for about 12 quid, DD still uses it at nearly 2 and its small enough to take on holiday etc to keep a consistent bedtime.

Great thanks - i'll have a look at all of them.

Love the same remote story - that would be worth getting just to see the look on Dh's face!

Oh. Forgot to say, the ones with the remotes can be great. It can be a big help to switch the mobile on or off without going into their room
My friend's daughter used to go off her head if she saw her mum, but didn't get picked up.

I have a feeling the fisher price one with the fish, as per the link above, is the one we had for my ds. A word of warning - the music is heartbreaking! I still have memories of a very emotional first-time dad dh putting it together with tears pouring down his face! :)
