Sorry about the ridiculously superficial post.

A couple of years ago I remember seeing lots of babies wearing lovely animal print rompers with matching hats or hooded. I loved them then, and now that I'm expecting my first would like to have one. I seem to have trouble finding them online. Does anybody know where I could find them? I've found an US shop, but there must be somewhere selling them in the UK. If you are not sure what I'm talking about here is the link to that shop: www.polkadotpatch.com/noo-designs.html

Thanks!

Oooh, they're lovely. No idea where to get them, although Babies-r-Us do car seat snuggle/wrap things just like them.

MyThumbsHaveGoneWeird · 17/10/2010 19:15

Mothercare has LOADS of them. Here's the leopard I think they are yuk, but each to their own!

MyThumbsHaveGoneWeird · 17/10/2010 19:17

Actually, I have to admit, I am quite tempted by this one Blush

blueberryboybait · 17/10/2010 19:19

amazon have them too - some are sweet but others are not really my taste.

MyThumbsHaveGoneWeird · 17/10/2010 19:23

Mothercare seem to think you may want to dress your newborn baby as a [http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Devil-All-In-One/dp/B003VKYCZU/sr=1-21/qid=1287339083/ref=sr_1_21/277-4187025-3055910?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42850041&mcb=core devil]]?! Biscuit

Sainsburys have a pack of sleepsuits that includes a cow print one. Nice and cheap, and about as far into animal print as I will go!

Hope it helps.

smoggii · 17/10/2010 20:34

We were in mothercare today, they have loads, I picked up the really cute leopard one, my husband was horrified!

PaigeTurner · 17/10/2010 20:35

Baby Gap has lion and zebra suits.

knittakid · 17/10/2010 22:02

Thank you all! you know? I hate animal print in anything else, but don't know why I think these are cute.
Thanks again, sometimes google really does not help.

Lovely one in baby gap.

KatnKankles · 18/10/2010 00:10

Debenhams Blue zoo range has some.

Not sure if I love them or hate them tbh :o

splashy · 18/10/2010 00:16

My friend got me a really cute one from motherccare - leopard print! Everyone comments on how nice it is.

Also got given one from pumpkin patch, a pink all in one bear suit, adorable :)

My DH is a HUGE fan of these. He went out shopping and came back with a zebra one from Gap with matching hat. He told me that they also have a pig and a giraffe and a bear suit (I am not a massive fan tbh, but love the fact that he is so keen on the baby generally). When left to his own devices I think DH will dress this baby up as an animal at every chance. Hmm She's due this Saturday. I have managed to resist the zebra in the hospital bag, but I won't be surprised if he sneaks it in! Grin

knittakid · 18/10/2010 19:47

pumplon? where did that come from? sorry, meant pumpkin.

Indeed KFW, any sign of involvement should be encouraged! You are due very soon! good luck with it all, and do let us know if afterwards you really cared about which clothes she wore first Smile

(i think) we got our black/white cow print baby vests ffrom sainsburys, saw similar ones in asda too. apparently new babs can only see red/white/black so anything white or pastel is wasted on them really!!

LooL00 · 19/10/2010 10:56

I'm sure I've seen cow print in Sainsburys.

KFW · 19/10/2010 13:00

Thanks knittakid. It's all feeling very real now!

I hope you find some suitable animal outfits for your little one. One thing I will say in the zebra's defence is that it does feel very snuggly and warm.

good luck to you with your pregnancy. Smile

vmcd28 · 19/10/2010 15:18

Last week we bought cow print vests from Asda. They are too cute!

Chardanna · 28/10/2010 21:07
