It's beginning to drive me crazy that even though my belly rumbles away I find it almost impossible to eat until much later in the day. I could go into the kitchen now and make some toast or get some cereal or whatever and as soon as it goes in my mouth I feel sick! I don't think I can survive on tea and water for much longer!!

I think a visit to your GP might be in order. Toast is one of the few things I've always been able to get down. That and digestive biscuits. Try some of them, on my worse days I've only managed half of one but it'll make you slightly less hungry

Hope you feel better soon

Well, I was at my GP on Fri for my first appointment and mentioned it to her. She said not to worry right now but it's just so frustrating that my tummy can feel hungry but not being able to eat. I have to say I have actually just managed some toast and marmite but I definitely think some digestives should be on the shopping list thank you. I love them at normal times so hopefully they will come in handy now.

Sorry pistachio I must have posted at the same time. I will be 6weeks on Tuesday. I am so surprised at how quickly the symptoms started. I do find in the evening I can eat really well so maybe I should just hoover everything up in the cupboards of an evening. :o

I found sips of cold milk ok when nothing else would stay down, it fills you up a bit as well. Also chewing gum staved off the nausea and stopped the hunger pangs for a bit. Reckon I kept Wrigleys in business!
