Only just made it and sat down and spilt it all over my lower bump and trousers, i let out a yelp and my little boy (3) started crying so i had to calm him / explain it wasnt his falt the tea was hot etc b4 i could cool myself down. Sat here with a cold flannel on my bump now as it was quite red, babys moved since should i shut myself in a padded room now? Slipped earlier in kitchen on some water and nearly did splits (lovely when u have spd) and banged my knee, need sympathy asap, thank u

oh you poor thing :(
Make sure you keep putting cold stuff on it, especially as you didn't see to it straight away. How hot was it? Did it have milk in it?

pinkyp · 16/10/2010 17:05

yeh it had milk in it but it had just been made (literally made it and sat down), i'm just hoping i dont get a 3rd thing..

well you burnt yourself & you didn't get to drink your tea. so that, along with the slip makes 3

forgot to mention i droped an empty container of soup and it splashed everywhere so i'm using that as my 3 lol Grin

oh yes, definitely, the not drinking your tea thing was just a lie :o
Would hate for you to think you were starting a new three!
How's the burn?

pinkyp · 17/10/2010 09:33

its fine today, yesterday i could feel it was still burning as i walked but mainly in my legs coz i had a nice cool flannel on my bump for about 1/2 hour. Heres to a better day today!(touch wood)

I did the same thing when pg with DD - it hurt like hell and it's difficult to cool down as you can't exactly run your bump under a cold tap!

Bag of frozen veg did a good job though.....hope it gets better soon!
