changing tables

I suffer from a really bad back and by Feb Smile will need a changing table that's at least at my waist height, but ideally much higher so I don't have problems lifting my baby off it straight to my chest height. Ideally I think I'm looking for something 110cm/43" high. Does anyone know of one I can order/have one they were going to ebay?

I'm tall and got one from M&P, which seemed higher than a lot of them.

If you can't find one the right height, have you looked at the ones that fit over a chest of drawers?

Or you could use some of these? I would make sure I had the table secured to the wall with a tether strap if i did that, though...

Good luck looking, and congrats :o

I followed your advice. We're going to screw an Ikea changing table top to a white dresser we picked up in the street, which is about the right height (though some of the drawers are a bit dodgy). Perfect.

I remember being amazed at how low all the changing tables were when we were looking. I don't feel abnormally tall at 5'8, but I guess tall people can use a lower changing table whilst the reverse doesn't work quite so well. I have the same problems in kitchens.

Glad you found a solution, anyway, and hope it works out well for you :)
