Hi - I've been given a great changing table by a friend - it is an ikea wood one with I guess some kind of varnish finish (Lekvik). It smells very slightly of either smoke or perfume and anyway I want to give it a good clean and just wondering what product anyone would suggest. I've got some Cif anti-bac but it says not to use on painted surfaces... any ideas... would washing up liquid be OK?

With thanks for any ideas!

Thanks for the tip - will get some and as it's a nice day clean and put outside.

Guessing I will have a few second hand things given to me so should get a cleaning plan in place!
