your friends or family announce they have found out the sex of the baby but decided not to tell anyone until the birth.....whats the point of saying anything in the first place???!! LOL

Oh yes it's like they are saying we have this big amazing secret but we're not telling YOU - when actually most people only ask out of politeness rather than a real interest

Yes it is annoying. Why bother saying anything? Its like the enjoy having this bit of 'power' knowing that they know and you want to know but they won't tell.

Saying that I wish we hadn't told my MIL. She has gone and told everyone and the name we like then is going about what middle name we are going to choose.

It would actually be nice for us to tell these people ourselves (particularly about the babies name) but we have no chance now.
