I'm 24 weeks and huge. I've got a lively toddler and I look after 3 more so my home is never my own. My house is a tip and my hips ache. I've got another 4 weeks before I start maternity leave and it feels like a year away. I'm knackered. How am I going to get through it? If anyone else fancies a moan then feel free to join as misery loves misery. Maybe you can share a few tips too to help me get through this period.

I know how you feel... I really could have done with starting my maternity leave earlier than I'd planned. In the end I got so stressed that the doctor signed me off 8 weeks early! Can you take the 4 children out to stay & play groups so that you don't have to fret about the house?

Can anybody come and help you out with the cleaning? Don't be too proud to ask.
Congratulations on the baby. Smile

I wasn't too bad at he end of the pregnancy but I should have had time off sick at the start - was dreadful but I soldiered on feeling like death because of some stupid feeling that I should.

AKMD- The playgroup provision isn't really very good around here (rural) and the kids get bored with the toys there (never any working ones as all the batteries have worn out and not been replaced or they are broken or incomplete) I have better toys at home TBH. It is harder during the winter as I find I am confined to the house more. Any activity that I do with the only seems to last 10mins max because of their age.

Northern- I'd love to be able to afford a cleaner but money is very tight at the moment and my family are busy with their own lives. If money wasn't such an issue I would finish earlier.

I'm so miserable I'm getting on my own nerves. It's all just hard work, exhausting and I want to run away but it would have to be more of a waddle so I wouldn't get very far anyway. Confused
