Am just back from giving birth to our new boy Oliver and wanted to say a general thank you to all the MNetters who've poured their wisdom into this site - from lists of what to buy to what to take to the hospital to birthing advice - I've scoured these posts for tips over the last months and so many made such a difference to my experience. Thank you all! You were so right - take BIG knickers to the hospital! Jug of water when you pee post-birth! Lozenges to suck on after 4 hours of gas and air - heaven! and a million other tips and wise words - they've made a huge difference to me. Thank you!
