Baby monitors - recommendations please!

Hi, just looking for a good baby monitor. Can anyone recommend a make and or model? Thank you for any advice in advance!

I'm going for the Angelcare as my sister and friend used it because of the sensor pad and they really recommend it.

Definitely get a digital one if you can afford it - we had an analogue one initially and got massive interferrence from our neighbours - one evening we were happily listening to next doors child sleeping while ours was wailing upstairs :(

It was exchanged the next day.

We've got a BT 150.

We love our angelcare. Such peace of mind with sensor.

Second the BT 150. The remote lullaby feature is a godsend. Fantastic reception as well.

Definitely the BT 150. Worth the extra money for the lullaby. We still take it with us when we go away, even if we're in the same room, as the lullaby gets her to sleep better than us! Also has a very long range (I have 4 floor house and can still get reception at the bottom of the long garden when she's upstairs).
Also, talk back function is very useful when you want DH/P to get you something and they can't find it etc...
Oooh, and it's pretty much indestructible. Brilliant product.

angelcare was the best baby product I have ever bought

ditto BT150 all the way. My sis has angel care and gets some interference but still liked it

Also the angelcare for me, best money spent on any baby product. Have just bought a second one for soon-to-be-arriving DC2, as my DD1 has been jumping up and down very hard in her cot on the sensor pad from the original one...

BT150 - no interference, like the talk back function, the lullaby etc, can put batteries in both parts so completely portable. If you need a sensor mat can buy one separately 2nd hand or can get a Babysense Ditto as that is completely portable breathing sensor. Last time had a mat that I borrowed, this time am trying a Ditto as baby was in our bed so much or in moses basket in day, cot at night, pushchair in day so mat wasn't always on (plus when you are feeding at night you always forget to turn off the sensor alarm when you pick baby up so having latched baby on siren goes off and you have to unlatch hungry baby and turn off alarm!)

BT 150 here! Has a torch which is great. Not used the lullaby function. Very good reception and sensitive too (which you can alter along with the volume)

I have dropped my BT 150 in the bath and it survived .

My BT monitor is nearly seven years old and is still perfectly clear.

Its £52 in Costco (inc VAT) if your looking to get the BT 150.
