Well, at only 5+2 and not even been to my doc yet I didn't expect to have my feet up in stirrups and having someone staring at my bits already but today I have had that joy.
On the train on way to work this morning I had this terrible cramping low in my tummy that built up then slowly calmed. It happened a second time not long after getting into the building. I actually couldnt decide if I needed to poo/fart or if it was actually a problem :o Thankfully I work at a hospital so was seen fairly quickly by A&E then referred over to emergency gyne.
So, the wonderful internal scan was eventually carried out and it appears I have a 4cm haemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary. Apparently the cyst can bleed now and again which will cause these pains. The consultant said it doesn't cause any harm and is known to happen in some pregnancies. We saw my teeny tiny wee smudge inside the sac and she said that all looks absolutely fine but to remember it is all still very early. If the pain comes again I have to either try and see it out or take paracetmol. So, I already have plenty to tell the doc at my first appointment tomorrow!
