Twins!

I had my dating scan yesterday and to my surprise we are having twins! It was truly amazing seeing both babies! I was told that they are identical and for some reason I happened to be seen by a Consultant who even told me that we were having girls, can this be true, can they really tell at such an early stage!

I have 6 year old identical twin boys. They told us at the 12 week scan that we were having twins and that they were identical. I had a scan at 16 weeks and asked if they knew the sex but they couldn't tell. I found out they were boys at 18 weeks. I thought the genitals were just forming at 11-12 weeks so can't tell.

Congratulations Shuz!!! It is so nice to know so early. I'm still waiting for my 20 week scan to know the sex.
