Have Primark sizes got smaller??

I bought some trackie bottoms today from Primark in a size 16. I thought they would be massive and comfy and fit under my bump without digging in. When I tried them on at home, they aren't even that big on me! They fit.

I also bought size 12-14 granny knickers as I have M&S 12-14 granny knickers and they are really comfy on my bump.
I have just put a pair on and they are pretty tight around the thigh area and they certainly don't come up over my bump.

Do Primark do small sizes or am I more of a porker than I thought? Maybe M&S do generous sizes.... Hmm

Their sizes are smaller at the moment.

Primark knickers are way smaller than other brands - maybe because smaller knickers are cheaper to produce! I'm normally size 12-14 in knickers and, having looked at one of the mumsnet talks on hospital bags, one of the things I'll be packing is a multipack of giant Primark knickers in size 20-22!! They look like M&S size 16s...

Definitely have got smaller!

I'm a size 12, used to be a 10 in primark and when I was 9 months pregnant (nearly 2 years ago) I took a 14 in primark.

I now had to try on a 14 coat the other day in there because the 12 didnt even meet to do up. But I still wear my size 10 linen trousers I bought from there about 4 or 5 years ago.
