This is my third baby (fifth pregnancy - other two were first trimester losses) and I've very definitely been experiencing painless contractions/tightenings over the last 24 hours on and off, especially when I first wake up. I'm 100% certain they are contractions for a variety of reasons I won't bore you with on this post Wink

Just wondered how normal this is! Haven't even had my booking appointment yet..

Mine started incredibly early this time round. Can't remember when exactly, but definitely first trimester!

Thanks for the reassurance! Glad to know I'm not alone, even if it's a bit unusual!

i thought i had B.H at about 14 weeks but i think it was when baby turned or shifted my uterus just tensed up then when baby comfortable it relaxed!!! Who knows it could very well be braxton hicks!!!

I definately had BH from about 14 weeks both times

This is my 4th baby/pregnancy and have had BH the whole way through and quite frequently. Kind of freaked me out as I never remembered having so many with the others and I was convinced around 30 weeks that baby was going to come early because of all the BHs! :) I'm 36+2 now and get a BH whenever I get up from sitting/walk up the stairs/basically whenever I move! I'm a little concerned this baby might just fall out if I sneeze in a few weeks... ;) I'm just hoping all these BHs mean my uterus is still in good form and ready to push out another baby quickly (previous labours were 3hrs, 2hrs and 45 minutes from 3cm to babe in arms)!
