Hi, and welcome to Mumsnet

I too had painful boobs in early pregnancy (mind you, i didn't think they meant anything other than just my usual PMT symptoms for the first few weeks as i didn't 'discover' i was pregnant till i was 8 weeks gone!) - tis very common, especially if you do get sore around that time of the month anyway. Heat pads are good. HTH.

hello nervousmum2be. first of all done be nervous, you'll be fine. it's a worrying time but its worth it all the end. i have a two year old son, but with him i didnt have any symptoms until 3 days after my period was due( morning sickness kicked in straight away) so if i am pregnant this time its completely different, which is why im looking for info. i dont get sore boobs at the time of my period, as a rule, but if this pain continues i may invest in some heat pads, thanks

you could try the breastfeeding remedy - chilled cabbage leaves in the bra - honest!

hello ediemay, just got your post. i might give that remedy a go, if all else fails. thanx

sorry for the delay in replying - i've been busy preparing for my imminent arrival! I'm 36+4 weeks, but due to have a c-section on the 26th September due to a pre-existing medical condition. Only 12 more days to go....!

Any relief from the sore boobs yet?
