Bird poo

Hi,

Just got back to work after lunch and noticed a small spot of bird poo on the arm of my coat - I have to walk under a load of trees so expect the little so and so got me there. Does only seem to be on the arm and I've washed my hands but now worried that bird poo might be harmful for pregnant women. Pretty sure that none actually went on me. Have had a Google and haven't found much of any use.

Anyone else know?

I don't know but I can tell you that the day I got my BFP with DS (now a healthy 2.5 year old) a pigeon at the station did the most enormous dump right on my head and down my shoulder and all over my rain coat. It was foul but other than humiliation I can report no ill effects. Grin

When I was 14 weeks with dd1 I got pooped on by a pigeon right on the face - it ran down my nose and just missed my mouth.

As with vote it was disgusting and humiliating and I can report no ill effects. DD1 is now a healthy, if not a bit stroppy, 5 year old!

Please don't worry.

Thanks for the reassurance. I'm pretty sure it stayed on the arm and it is only a very small bit rather than a full dumping - feel so sorry for both of you who got the full load, yuck!

Supposed to be lucky apparently so hopefully it is.

Today had been going so well up until that point and now just feel annoyed.

X

I'm not being funny, but unless it fell into your mouth, I don't think you've got anything to worry about.

I live by the sea and there's seagull poop everywhere. Every time you sit on the tube in London, the seat you're on is probably deep with poop and dirt and hairs etc.

I don't think you should give it another thought.

This is a joke, right?

Is this a real question?
