Bumper to Bumper

I've had lots of comments in the past few months regarding the size of my bump. I've had friends/acquaintances stand back and make judgements, tell me i'm small/big, carrying x, carrying y, looking healthy, looking drained and the list goes on!
Maybe as a result of this I often find myself looking at other people's bumps! I suppose i'm comparing sizes and according to some of the women in my yoga class we are all prone to it.
It wasn't until i saw a lady looking at my bump today did i stop and think 'Yup we all do this'
Why? Is it an insecurity about size or just checking that you're normal? If it wasn't for all the comments i get i doubt i'd even think twice!

I just think bumps are amazing as there's a baby in there so i always find myslef looking.
Maybe it's just something woman can all empathise with and gossip about.

Another confession..I keep looking at babies! Then i look at the parents and try and work out who they take after..I find myself grinning ear to ear when i see a newborn outside and must look like a bit of a weirdo!!!
I don't know what's happening to me

Chacha - It's a hormone thing. You smile at new borns because you can't help but think about the tiny miracle you are growing. As for comparing bumps yes we all do it, and yes I think part of it is that we are trying to work out if our pregancies are all progressing at the same kind of rate and are normal.

Me i am looking at new borns and grinning ridiculousley whilst wondering when mine is going to make an appearance. I am currently 4 days over due and going slowly insane.
