preg with dc2 atm and this never happened with my first pregnancy, so im a bit confused

basically it feels like somethings banging inside my fanjo Confused. like knocking at a door or something. last night it was really bad and i actually thought that if i stood up my waters would break (im 22 weeks) went to the bathroom and didn't need to pee so not typical pregnant woman desperate for the loo syndrome. its not painful but quite sudden and noticable, it was sore once or twice when it happened last night but fine today.

no idea whats going on, hard to really describe but a little bit scared. any advice?

or anyone need to tell me to get over it, its normal and my fanjo is playing tricks on me Wink

Is it not just the baby moving?

I had all movement up top with DD1 but this time it's all very low down. Being prodded from the inside of my cervix is not pleasant I have to say.

ShowOfBloodyStumps · 11/10/2010 16:14

I felt like that around the same stage. It always felt like you know when you go to somewhere with loud music and you can feel the beat in the floor through your feet? Well like that but in my uterus!

WitchyWooWoo · 11/10/2010 16:15

doesnt seem to coincide with baby moving about but that could be it.

know exactly what you mean "show" thats it! but not as constant

Nope much more random. I thought it might be a nerve playing up when dd squished it.

WitchyWooWoo · 11/10/2010 16:37

i seem to be getting a lot of the nerve problems too. ds giggled like mad when i couldn't walk without dragging my right leg around because of nerves! ouch! i have a ds, and expecting a dd this time, its amazing how different my pregnancies have been.

probably just the baby moving around. At around 25 weeks, I felt like something was kicking my bumhole. And it only keeps getting worse.

I have felt the exact same thing a few weeks ago, it did stop eventually, doesn't 'arf feel weird though!!

zandlt · 11/10/2010 19:30

I've had something like that and I have decided its either LO kicking directly downwards Hmm or when he's head down and has hiccups!

DomesticG0ddess · 12/10/2010 08:29

I have had that throughout as well, and I did with DS too. It's so unpleasant! Am almost 39 weeks now and the other night it felt like he was just trying to kick his way out!

CrazyPlateLady · 12/10/2010 09:56

I have had this and I am 22 weeks too. My baby is very low down. It is her banging into my cervix. Very uncomfortable. It feels exactly as described on here so I would say its your baby.

I didn't have this the first time either as DS was much higher up. At my scan, this one is head down already whereas DS wasn't even engaged when I went into labour and was transverse until 37 weeks. My placenta is also at the front this time so movements have felt a lot different and not as strong or as early as I felt DS.
