Getting a 'dead leg' during pregnancy - is this normal?!

I'm 21 wks & for the past few weeks have been getting an internittent 'dead leg'. It's my right leg, can last all day, can force me to sit down & rest (makes walking/standing uncomfortable). Has anyone else experienced this? Should I speak to the MW? It's not every day & seems to happen, weirdly, after sex Blush (though I'm not sure if it's every time IYSWIM)... Any ideas?

I think you'd be better speaking to your GP. Midwives are there for normal pregnancies, I don't think that what you describe sounds very common but could well have an innocent explanation. It could well be something unrelated to your pregnancy so another reason for seeing your GP.

I know what you mean, im only 11 weeks but I have been getting them more often than normal and getting pins and needles alot!

Hope someone else can shead some light on it x

My GP is worse than useless, particularly while pregnant (she just says 'you need to spesk to the MW' to everything, pg-related or not..). Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I guess that'd help knowing whether to harrass my GP or start with the MW...
