ANOTHER quick question about a certain ointment for piles

I've got a very painful pile - I've had piles for a while, but no constipation or pain during movement - but it's all changed! I've got one that is keeping me up at night,

I'd been using anusol/geramoloids but the doctor has prescribed me PROCTOSEDYL but it's a hydrocortisone, I think. Is it safe to use? It makes me anxious. I know he's a doctor, but he's not the sharpest knife in a drawer and I wonder if other doctors would be more cautious...

Hi Seasister I was prescribed this after birth by the MW it was very good and my pile situation was horrendous by then. During this pregnancy it hasn't been so bad but I was prescribed uni- something sorry will have to check and it has hydrocortisone in it so should be ok ???
