Hi... this might not happen - but thinking ahead if i have to be induced....

my EDD is 31st Jan and i've been told they let you go 12 days over then induce you - so would it happen on the 12th feb - or does the count start from your EDD - so the 11th Feb IYSWIM?

DH will be flying home from abroad and trying to figure out dates to fly to work round this too.

Thanks!

Depends on where you live. You are induced on the 15th day where I live and where my SIL lives too (different areas) Worth checking!
Good luck!

Should have said too, you don't have to be induced on the day they tell you.

It'll be 40+12 weeks.

You don't have to agree to be induced then, especially as there is no evidence that the risks increase before 40+14.

One reason I choose my hospital over another is that their induction policy is evidence based - e.g. it's suggested at 40+14 but not before.
