Hi there

I wondered if anyone might have a link to any downloadable leaflets about the risks of second-hand smoke to babies before and after birth?

There are several smokers in my family and DHs family and I wanted to have a read and print some out for them to read.

Thanks in advance, I've tried the NHS site and can;t see anything.

Hi DF,
Hope the aggro with the family visiting has got a bit easier??
This is a general leaflet about reducing risk of cot death, but it does have a page on smoking.

My friends baby was prem, and the hospital said anyone who smoked, couldnt hold the baby for at least 2 hours,so even if they smoke outside and then come in,its still a danger..

We have this problem with my dh family, they all smoke and 2 of them are chainsmokers,so i rarely visit, especially as myself and one of my sons have asthma.

My dd is due her baby on Christmas eve,and is panicking about them coming to visit, she is only 17,and nows the dangers, her partner said he will stand at the front door, holding the bacterial handwash and breath spray lol x
