Seasonla 'flu jab in pregnancy

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I've been offered the seasonal 'flu jab (I had the Swine 'flu vaccination about 3 months ago).

There's a drop in session this morning at my surgery this morning at 9am and apparently pregnant women are advised to have it.

Just wondering if anyone out there's had it, or has any opinion on it?

There is a great big thread about it here.Wink

I'm 30 weeks and have had it.

I saw that thread - but thought it was about the swine flu vaccination.

Anyway - I got to the drop in session and didn't have it - according to their 'flow chart', I'm pregnant, but not in one of the 'at risk' groups and as I've had the Swine 'flu jab, I don't need it.

I've never seen so many old people in one place before though!

As far as I am aware tehy are combining the flu jab and the swine flue jab aren't they?

That would explain it then.

I just don't think everyone always shares all the information - but I suppose that's quite tricky to do.
