Less baby movements today?

I am 29+4 and my baby has been much less active today, only really had a couple of tiny kicks.

Just been diagnosed with high BP (v unusual for me) and am incredibly stressed at work!! Could this have something to do with it do you think?

Or do you think there are just days when the baby moves less?

Think I have officially entered mental worried about everything stage of my pregnancy!!! :)

I'd drink a cold drink and have something sugary and then go and sit somewhere undisturbed for a while. If you still don't feel the baby kick, call your MW - better safe than sorry and they do say to contact them if movements are less.

It does happen and if you are stressed at work you might not be so aware of movement

But it's still worth go to the hospital and get checked out. Please.

This happened to me at 36 weeks. I went in, and they found the baby's heartbeat was erratic

In the end they said they thought the cord was wrapped round his neck and he was squeezing it.

I was monitored closely for rest of preg and induced at 39 weeks. Ds is now a delightful 4 year old.

Don't take risks. Go and get it checked. The hosp will not mind one bit. If nothing is wrong they can put your mind at rest

Get checked if you are anxious - always better to put your mind at ease.

Also, I find whenever bub gets a bit lethargic, drinking cold OJ (sugar) and lying on my left side for a bit seems to have an effect.
