I want to get a lovely cosy smart pair of flat boots that will look good with a dress and can be worn under jeans that can get me through to the end of my pg (in feb).

Thing is, I'm probably looking at spending about £100 on them and don't want to buy a pair only to find my feet/ankles swell to epic proportions and they no longer fit.

I'm currently 20 weeks. Any advice as to foot swelling and if I should hold off buying or even not bother?

I personally woudln't spend much on them. I have had hardly any swelling, but my boots are tight at the moment (but I'm 38 weeks). I would buy some and save the rest of the money post pregnancy!

Buy a pair of ugg style boots, keep you toasty warm and if you get a pair that laces up, they will expand with you. I bought a pair of knee length ones for a fiver in Primark last year and they are sooooooo comfy. And cos they have laces I just don't tie them as tight when I get sausage swollen ankles Smile

I've had hardly any swelling until the last few weeks, but my boots wont go on at all. I thought they had space in them when I bought them.

I would hold off sadly. You'll be right at the huge ankles stage when you really want to wear them otherwise, and frankly it's depressing when they don't fit!
