Last night I hit DH for no reason at all. I was fine at work, came home and within 10 mins had gone from pleasant chat to furious rage. I've never felt so angry in my life. I could feel adrenaline pumping through me and I couldn't stop shaking.

After that I had some kind me panic attack and I couldn't stop crying. I couldn't breathe, and I was making loads of noise even though I thought I might wake DS.

I'm 34 weeks. I'm really frightened this might happen again. Has anything like this happened to anyone else or am I mental?

You're not mental nagoo, and its almost certainly just a hormone rush, but maybe its worth talking to your midwife about it so someone with medical training can reassure you, particularly as you're frightened by it.

If its any comfort, I had a panic attack on Monday and it was really scary - that feeling of having no control over your emotions is not a nice thing to have.

Thank you. I did find it really scary. I spent the day at my mum's because I was afraid to be on my own with ds. I felt exhausted this morning but i've been coping ok with multiple children today. What do you think the chances of it happening again? I'm not this kind of person, i'm usually able to detach and think about how i'm behaving.
