Why are you in pain nona?

Unfortunatley there isn't much you can do yourself as mostly it's all old wives tales but if you're seriously suffering then maybe you could talk to your midwife about an induction of labour or a c-sect?

It's horrible isn't it? I had it last time around and I'm am starting to get the odd twinge now that I am 23 weeks. I have heard of some people on here being bad enough that their consultant has agreed to an induction of labour/c-sect. I hope you get a sympathetic response and wishing you all the best.

Sorry but not really! I had a really long latent phase in my first labour that went on for a few days and I tried everything in the run up and during from curry, pineapple, sex, bouncing on my birthing ball and being active - lots of walking. That experience has taught me they will come when they are ready.
SOrry you in so much pain.
