Yellow discharge in ninth week of pregnancy... normal?

Sorry for detail but I wondered if anyone else has this... It only appears as the day progresses. I don't have anything when I wake up for example. No pain or itchiness and it doesn't smell offensive. It is perfectly manageable with a pantyliner. Should I be concerned?

Get used to it! It gets worse! As long as not smelly or a funny colour and you have no pain or itchyness, it's just all part of the glamour of pregnancy!

Thank you excitedmummy! There seem to be one set of symptoms they DO tell you about and then a whole load that they leave you to discover for yourself....!

I had this earlier on (currently 16+1). I found by wearing pantyliners it made it worse and more obvious. I now wear baggy pj bottoms at night to keep the area fresh, wash the area twice a day and everythings seems to be white again. I know its not nice having "wet" knickers but i'd rather just keep changing them.

(I can't believe I just typed that out, there really isn't TMI in pregnancy is there?!)

Reassurance for you LaraMi ...it's normal and it lasts the whole time! As per excitedmummy unless there are any other symptoms, it's nothing to worry about... I reckon if the midwife told you about everything, it'd just take the fun out of pregnancy Grin
