this is my 2nd, and I have to admit I have a much more relaxed attitude about buying things.

Have cot, (although not up) moses basket, do I need a new mattress?? Bugaboo in spare room and a car seat - and a pile of new born clothes.

But what else do I need?

Or wht made your life so much easier?

If the mattresses have been stored in an attic or garage, you need to replace them for sure because of the risk of mould spores from damp. If they're still in the house, it's more up to you and how worn/dirty they are afaik.

Will you be breastfeeding? That makes the shopping list shorter! Smile

Yes planning on exclusively BF, infact, I was thinking f I avoided buying any bottle related stuff then I wouldnt be so easily tempted to make a bottle of formula up at 3 am when desperately needing sleep etc etc

hello!

:)

Have you got one of those massive U shaped BF pillows? That totally transformed my life when i had DD. They are brilliant and can also be used for loads of other things ( including watching tv in bed!)

Lanisol nipple cream. Sports type cup/ot lots of straws for one handed drinking when you are feeding.
