Got to have my blood taken tomorrow and can't remember from DC1 if you have to do this on an empty stomach, does anyone know?

Hi :) I am having mine done tomorrow too - my midwife didn't say -but I know in the surgery where I work the ladies have all their bloods done in the afternoon - so definitley no empty tummies there!

I am not going to fast - I will never make it to the hospital if I do - I have to eat regularly! xx

oh good, cos if I don't eat something first I think I'll puke.

no need to have an empty stomach. if you need one for whatever test they will tell you and give you very detailed advice. e.g. gtt (glucose tolerance test)
