I am 21 weeks pregnant. DH says I am more hormonal than last time. I am soooo snappy a lot of the time. Little things really piss me off, big time. I am snapping at my nan a lot as she just doesn't listen to me (eg DS had reflux until he was 8 months, she is adamant that he was being sick because the MW told me to give him cold milk. I then reminded her it was room temp milk (and it was for about a week or 2 when he was relaly small), not cold but to humour her I heated it and it made no difference, like I said it wouldn't, but she does not listen to anything when it comes to baby advice and it drives me up the wall).

I know she means well (she brought me up btw so we are closer than nan and granddaughter) but I am soooo irritable.

Please tell me I'm not the only one.

You're not - I'm a horror to be around. I didn't think we'd be getting 'helpful' advice as this is DC2 but it's been worse this time. It seems that our families thought we did everything wrong last time...

35 weeks tomorrow, so hopefully not too long to go and I can revert to my normal cheery self Grin

You're not the only one. I can get so annoyed over something on one day - to the point of wanting to walk out the house - and only realise about three days later how unreasonable I was being. Poor DH. Blush

Yes I do feel a bit sorry for my DH. It does seem to be my nan who gets it more unfortunately as I get sooo exasperated. If I tell her its hormones, I will probably get the "I don't remember that/I have never heard of that" routine, like every bloody thing she hasn't heard of. Just the other day I was saying about not going into labour when you have an ELCS and she said "I know women who have gone into labour and had c sections" Grrrrrrr.

I need some deep breaths. MIL nearly got it today when I overheard her saying to DS, "oh you don't want another boy, 1 is quite enough, you want a girl this time" Yes I am having a girl, but WTF is wrong with another boy and why say this to a 2 year old boy.

I know how you feel, but don't worry - it's not you....it's everyone else Wink
