If 1st baby was 10 days early, is there less chance of 2nd baby going overdue?

DS was 10 days early. I am due with my next one 9 days after his birthday so I am planning to do his birthday the week before.

People have been saying "oh valentines baby" (I'm due 9th Feb) but I was wondering what the chances are of going over due when DS was early?

I know its probably random but reading the thread about 2nd births (and they are always quicker) I was wondering and hoping that it will be after my DS's birthday.

I don't think gestation length follows through with pregnancies, unlike length of labour (unless you are really early).

Ok, so no guarantees this one will be early too.

I won't expect it then. Thanks.
