My midwife suggested I bought drank some of this (I'm 38 weeks). I know I drank it a lot at the end of my first pregnancy but can't remember what it's supposed to do! My friend who I normally ask about such things is away at the moment - can anyone enlighten me?

It is supposed to tone the uterine muscles in preparation for labour, some also believe that it can be used to bring it on.

You can get tablets as well if you can't stand the tea! Hollands & Barretts do them as will most health food shops.
