I have no expertise on this subject at all but didn't want your post to go unanswered. You must feel so worried right now. I really feel for you and hope you get the news you want. I'm sure someone who knows more about these things will be along in a minute.

Thinking of you.

Oh, I'm sorry this is happening to you :(
I'm no expert, but have heard that symptoms can still happen after a missed miscarriage unfortunately.
When are you seeing the gynae?
Hugs.

I'm afraid it is possible to still have pregnancy symptoms if your baby has died. Sometimes the sac continues to grow but the baby stops growing. You may have had a missed miscarriage, or your baby could have been conceived later than you think. I am so sorry you are going through this, sadly no one here can tell you what has happened to your baby, they may want to do a second scan in a weeks time to see if the baby has grown or they may do tests to see what your hormone level is.

Try the miscarriage association for further help and support.

Sorry this is happening to you.

My missed miscarriage was also picked up at my 12 week scan. It is possible to still feel pregnant as often the sac keeps producing hormones after the foetus has stopped growing.

I hope that you get some definite answers soon.
