This morning in the shower I noticed a hard lump between my vagina and anus. It doesn't hurt and when I had a look in a hand mirror it looks flesh coloured but feels like a small ball under the skin.

I am not sure if this is something to worry about or if I need to rush off to the doctore. Could it just be a cyst? I have never had haemorroids so do not know what they look like or how they start. Could this be linked?

Not sure if I should call my midwife. I am 34 weeks pregnant.

Thanks

Could it be an infected hair follicle? But I'd guess it would be a bit sore. Could well be a cyst. Doesnt sound like piles. When are you next seeing your midwife? If you are worried you should ask them/make an appt with your gp?

It does sound like a cyst or a boil but best to ask your GP or midwife. It is probably harmless! Things come and go on my body all the time!

I occasionally get cysts on my neck or jawline and they go away on their own and they feel like a hard lump under the skin.

No point worrying unnecessarily though.

Maybe there is someone medically trained on here who can give you some more info....
