I'm on low dose aspirin and heparin because of a different clotting issue (raised anticardiolipin antibodies) - one injection a day (40mg Clexane). But I have had contact through another message board with someone taking the same thing for Factor V Leiden. It was she initially alerted me to the fact that a six week course post-partum is usually recommended: my consultant hadn't mentioned this at that point. I think the monitoring is generally the same - although I don't know what the risk factors are for your condition, compared to mine.
