has anyone else been having blood in urine

well when i went for a checkup when i was 6 weeks pregnant she mentioned i had blood in my urine, then i started noticing my urine getting quite dark after that so went back again at 8 weeks pregnant and still had blood in my urine it was +++ so quit alot really now im nearly 12 weeks and still getting it although its not as much as before. so i was wondering if any1 else has been having anything like this, as im going out of my mind with worry

Don't want to leave you unanswered... Sounds like you might have a stubborn urinary tract infection (UTI)? Surprised it's been going on so long though. I don't want to worry you but I'd ring your midwife or NHS Direct as if it is a UTI and untreated it can get to your kidneys and cause problems... Hope it's all okay.

I had this when I went to the doctors today with other UTI symprons and he's sent the sample off to check what UTI to treat for and I get the results in less than 24hrs. Do you have any other UTI symptoms?

I found alot easier poping to my doctors than going to Midwife as another option if you're worried.

dont have an infection urines been sent off 3x now each time has come back clear, but the 2nd time i had to wait 3 days for results to come back so while i waited they thought it was best to put me on antibiotics incase it come back that i had an infection,but i didnt. and when i got tested 3rd time still had it but had gone down to a trace of blood. so now im going out of my mind just keep googlin it and comes up bladder cancer im only 20 and really scared now

My DD had this same problem, I posted on here about it.

She had blood in her urine, and was given antibiotics. Her urine became very dark and then she has some heavy bleeding.

She was kept in hospital for monitoring, the Dr said you could see she had a UTI without doing a test, but the test again came back negative.

She had a scan and they said there was a pool of blood below the placenta, so she had had a small placental bleed and the blood was just gradually working its way out.

This happened over a period of about 10 weeks and stopped when she was 28 weeks.

She is now 37 weeks and everything seems to be as it should.

in the past i have had blood in my urine on tests its never been followed i was 13 the 1st time, and then it stopped for a while when i was 17 havent had it since till now, i feel alot a pressure and heavyness in bottom a my tummy, so im also thinking it could be from the pressure. i just dont know whats happening
