Hi all,

I am in desperate need of a decent massage place in London, or a getaway weekend at a spa (even within London) and I cant tell which ones will be worth it or not. I know that we cannot use a sauna/steam room or even a jacuzzi because of any chemicals used which is a real shame !

Does anyone have any good experiences of the above, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks Grin

These are all pretty easy to get to from London and the Berkley is in London. All really nice spas though none are very cheap. The spa at Pennyhill is great. The hotel in Climping is really lovely for a weekend and you can walk by the sea.

Are you more than 12 weeks pregnant? I found that no spas would do treatments before I was 12 weeks as they can't get insured and you have to say you are pregnant to make sure they don't use essential oils that aren't suitable for pregnancy.

Oh, quite fancy a spa break myself now!

I know the Vineyard at Stockcross (spa/hotel with amazing restaurant) does pregnancy treatments and that place is lush. Smile

There's also a great massage therapist local to there (it's my local area) who is trained to work on pregnant women, so you could combine the two to get specialist massage as well as the spa break. Her name is Sue Perry of TwoNineOFive.co.uk
