sorry a bit long...
I just had my 2nd fitting at John lewis for bras in 5 weeks, i'm 15 weeks - pre prg 34d, then measured at 32-34e, and today 34f, today the fitter was horrified at the bras the previous fitter (same jl store)had suggersted & that I had bought, so much so she offered there & there & then to exchange them..
They seemed comfy but mono boob like, nursing style ones, with little support,
the ones she suggested today are more gradma up & seperate jobs
eventually ended up with a jl 2pk & fantaise one... but afetr 1 hour of wearing the fantaise one i was in agony, & when i took it off had huge groove in the under bit of my boobs - clearly its going back
SOOO...
where the hell does decent, comfy, supportive bras, and as a bonus might even be non ugly...? help, if this is 15 weeks im aicing at 40!!
oggy...

Bravissimo have been a lifesaver for me.

As well as coping with my big boobs (gone up to 38FF from 38C), they also were able to fit me taking into account what I told them - e.g. about how going up a back size had led to neck pain, but also about how fast my boobs were growing. I got fitted in a soft cup bra with a bit of space in the cups so I had some growing room and they've been so comfy.

I went back to get fitted in an underwired bra for a wedding and have bought more soft cup bras from them since. I won't go anywhere else now TBH.

In my experience, no - there is no danger of getting comfortable.
I am living in my nan style bra. The 2 non-lift & separate ones I have gape outwards in the middle (ie doesn't lay against my ribcage in the middle) and my boobs are touching in the by the end of the day. Nice and sweaty.

It is said that you can wear underwired bras during pregnancy, as long as they always fit well.

I've been in underwired bras for the majority of my pregnancy until about two weeks ago when I bought some nursing bras and they're so so comfortable.

I've got a couple of Royce ones, an NCT one and some Mothercare ones. The Royce ones are lovely and comfy and seem to support me quite well (am similar size to you).

The NCT offer a bra fitting service and you can swap and change them easily enough.

I went to Rigby and Peller and got fitted there (and then sneaked out) and went and bought some bras in that size off of the net.

You need to get properly fitted. As estya said, a badly fitting bra is not comfortable.

R&P and Bravissimo seem to be the best places to get fitted.

Seconed Bravissimo, they are so the best place to get Bra's if a D cup or over.

They will happly fit you with underwire bra's to when PG, there fine to wear as long as they fit well. I'm still wearing them at 37week's and have no intention of changing to nursing Bra's untill baby arrives.
