I'm 19+3 pregnant and today whilst at work i suddenly got stomach pains. Hard to describe the pain, but was like a gripping, cramping pain. It's still quite painful so has been consistently aching for about 10 hours now. I saw myself in the mirror and i look huge! My stomach feels firmer too. Is this possible that my stomach can suddenly grow so much at this stage in such a short space of time? And is it possible that the pains are just growing/stretching pains? I have a scan on Friday but just wondered if this is usual.

Could you have pulled a muscle in your stomach maybe? I did that before at around 20 weeks just from turning over in bed, the muscle in your stomach are much weaker during pregnancy.

It could be trapped gas, causing cramps and bloating.
