i have woken for the past three nights completely breathless and soaked in sweat and have also 'died' in all outcomes of these nightmares, never suffered from real nightmares before is this anything to do with pregnancy, because these dreams are totally not connected with birth, pregnancy anything... just me meeting unfortunate ends!

i feel so silly asking but is it to do with baby ?
anything would be helpful

I think it is very common for pregnant women to have very vivid dreams. I know I do and I find them tiresome, but I can't exactly help do anything about them :). I don't think you should worry at all, it will pass.

Blush I can't exactly help do anything about them.

I went though a period at about 20weeks of having really vivid, violet dreams, someof which up-set me for the whole of the next day.

Crazy dreams are another one of the wierd side effects of pregnancy that no one tells you about.

It will pass.

Someone had a thread in pregnancy recently ( like last week) that listed crazy dreams. Have a look back though those and you'll find not everyone is dreaming about babies.

I have a wonderful boyfriend who I trust completely and in my earlier stages I used to dream he'd been having an affair-everyone told me it was anxiety and because I was feeling unwell that my mind was doing overtime at night. I think pregnancy is just something that obviously is stressful and anxious as well as amazingly exciting and they are the cause for a lot of our dreams. Dong worry it'll pass xxx
