I'm just 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby . Had a miscarriage between DD and DS so very anxious. Spent whole of last pregnancy on 'knicker watch'! Already feeling sick, tired and sore boobs... and tight around the middle although this is probably due to overindulgance over past week or so. Do you start to show sooner with your third?

I'm 7wks pg with my 3rd and had a mc back in June so know what you mean about being anxious. I worry about every ache and pain, and when I've not got any aches and pains, I worry why not! Like you, I'm already beginning to fill out round the middle too. With DD1, I was still getting in my usual size jeans at 15wks so it was a bit of a shock with DD2 to find my waistbands getting tight around 8 wks. My midwife said you do start to show sooner after your first child.

Hope everything goes well for you.

Hi, I'm another third pg, 1 m/c mum. Had a m/c between dds and am now almost 7 weeks pg. Feel very sick, tired (although not particularly tired today) and have vast boobs and stomach seems huge. All my clothes are tight around my tummy already. Good luck to both of you!

Yes, you certainly do show sooner with your third child. We thought we were having twins as I grew so quickly!!! They booked me in for an early scan, (there's a history of twins in my family)and we were surprised to find there was only 1 child in there.

I'm about 9 weeks with my third child and I completely understand. DD and DS are now 12 and 8 and I have remarried. I had a mc about 4 years ago so I am literally on 'knicker watch' too - I've always loved being pregnant but I never thought I would love all the symptoms quite this much . Its my DH's first time bless him!

I'm already very fat and tired with sore boobs; the heartburn is amazing already! .

I've been told that mc's happen every 1 in 3 pregnancies so I'm convinced that I've had my share and this one will be OK. Just look after yourself and you'll be fine. .

Hi.. and I thought i was going mad! i'm 6 weeks preg with no.3 but already had to change to baggy waist jeans.. a disaster as i put on 4 stone with each of my dds... i can't bear to put on even more this time! I bled heavily with dd2 and thought i'd lose her so i too am on knicker watch.. horrid and i feel for you all. When do you intend to tell people? My best mate guessed as i look like shit already but i haven't told my mum yet.. feels strange! Should i wait till 12 weeks? Thing is if i do miscarry i want her support....

Hello! This thread is a real comforter! I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my third and have already had to abandon all but one pair of trousers (and they won't last for much longer). Belly is quite bloated/extended but quite firm and hard (constipation is absolutely not to blame). Boobs are sore and already bigger. Have had MS for the past three and a half weeks. This has all come as a shock to me as neither of my previous pregnancies were like this - the symptoms pretty much started before my period was even due! At one point I suspected twins but, having read the experiences of other MNers (and there being no history of twins in the family), I've discounted this! Have got my booking appointment with the midwife on Friday, so I'll see if there's a look of shock/horror/surprise on her face when I pull up my top for her to examine me!

I'm 15 weeks with my 3rd child, 4th pregnancy, and already look quite pregnant. I've got a fairly rotund stomach but, surprisingly, i've not put any weight on yet

LittleJem · 11/10/2006 13:55

I'm pregnant with my third - and roughly 7-8 weeks I think, not showing as such but I'm definitely changing shape and my boobs are massive and I've never felt more tired! I've got booking in appointment with the midwife this afternoon.
