Hi
I am taking Xanax for anxiety and hoping to get pregnant but am worried about taking it through pregnancy. Does anyone have any info or experience with this that they could share.
Thanks.

It would be best to discuss this with your GP/Psychiatrist as they will have your full medical history and give much safer advice. :)

Hi Riven and OPOL

I have only just started taking it (few days)and feel much better. I was taking Ciprolam for 6 months and whilst it helped with the anxiety it just made me feel so blah and lethargic, whereas with the Xanax I just feel normal but not with terrible anxiety about everything. However I wouldn't like to continue with it if it is going to cause problems in the future. Thanks for your posts and I will speak to my GP about it.

If you have only just started taking it then usually a doctor would limit the length of time he/she prescribes it for. Anything more than 2-4 weeks of regular use and you risk becoming dependent.
